Concrete Carnage Contest Series

Eastern Boarder in conjunction with Scion will be hosting a series of contests which will culminate with a final at Rye Airfield in November. Each Eastern Boarder location will host an event at a skatepark near their shop with the first scheduled for Saturday June 19 at the Fitchburg Skatepark. There will be $500.00 in cash up for grabs at each stop. A win at one of the events will secure you a trip to the finals at the last contest at Rye without having to go threw qualifiers. Last Last Call Coverage Wrap-Up

Thanks to everyone who came up too Loon for the 10th annual Last Call. Once again the Loon park staff proved their commitment to quality park building by building through the rain and worst conditions possible to pull off another memorable set up. A huge thanks to Loon and all the sponsors K2 Snowboards, Oakley, 32 Boots, Scion, NXTZ, Redbull, Skullcandy, Dakine and Sam Adams for making last Call a success and of course it couldn't happen without Bub.

Rail Jam at Danvers

Thanks to the guys that came by for our rail jam especially the guys from Crotched Mountain who drove all the way down to bring us a box to session. We actually ended up with a decent set-up for what little we had to work with. The night ended with Parker and Robert Ollieing off the top of the drop in and over a sign we had set up. Here's the only picture I took that wasn't blurry. We might have some more pictures and video up soon.

Paul King Memorial Skate A Thon

Andover Skatepark is having their annual Paul King Memorial on Saturday, Oct. 3rd from 9am-9pm. This years event is more important than ever because they plan on starting to build the new concrete section of the park this fall! They will be using the money raised to take down the two old halfpipes in the corner of the park to build a bowl and the beginning of a new concrete street section!

Paul King Memorial SKATE-A-THON

We have scheduled this year's annual Paul King Memorial Skate-A-Thon for Saturday, Oct. 3 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (flyer attached).

We are moving along with plans to build the new concrete section in Paul's memory this fall. The estimate for the project is $86,000, and we have a little more than $60,000 in the bank right now (money we raised last year). So our goal is to raise $26,000. I realize that's a lofty goal and times are tough, but I never thought we'd raise $60,000 last year. So we're going to work hard to put on another great event this year and make Paul proud.

The skate-a-thon will include skateboard contests, food, a concert, and possibly a mini skate camp for beginners. Stay tuned for a full schedule.

Eric Desaro WINS the first ever Eastern Boarder and Etnies 4Down Video Contest. Eric laid down 4 tricks that alone would be in a video part. Never mind in a line. Second Place was Austie B with some inventive lines in what looks to be his private parking lot, filled with some good stuff. Austie submitted 5 lines, all of them had some good tricks. And Adrienne Jackson was the first to send in a video . Loaded with good tricks. and the Best Closer EVER. Our top 3 winners will be outfitted in some Etnies kicks and EB Tshirts. We realize its a hard thing to film Four Tricks in a row, so stay tuned for the next video contest..... "3 Stair Stare" or "High Beam" or "Sick Slappy Bro".

Brian Hunt and Zak Earley at Chicago Dew Tour

A couple of Eastern Boarder BMX team guys are repping at the Dew Games this weekend in Chicago. Zak Earley & Brian Hunt both made it through qualifiers and prelims, and are getting ready for Dirt and Park contests tomorrow. Give it a check and hopefully you will catch them on the little screen.
