I had the chance to scoop up a pair of these a few weeks ago. I finally started skating them about a week after I took them out of the box. They feel pretty tight at first, like all nike vulks, but now they are all broken in and feel great. They fit like blazers, sort of slim at the toes and narrow heels, but the janoski's have higher performance soles. If that makes sense, the foot to ground distance is almost nothing, and the toe and heel areas are trimmed out and slimmed out to almost nil. Like the quote above....minimal as you can get. The best part is they come with cork insoles, supposedly cork resists sweat and stank (mine are running the regular insoles).
